Sutcliffe
has had a long time interest in history and battlefields and found fertile
ground for these interests when he settled in Newcastle over 20 years ago.
Since then he has spent many years exploring the battlefields in the area
and now conducts tours to the Battlefields of Majuba, Blood River, Isandlwana
and Rorke’s Drift, Ladysmith, Spion Kop, Colenso, the Churchill Capture
