Love this man to bits – have stayed twice now and can’t praise both Tony and Tish highly enough. Before our first visit we had limited knowledge of the Boer War and the Zulu Wars. Tony brought history to life and garnered an interest in the period that will remain. A couple of our friends have stayed on our recommendation and all agree that this was one of the highlights of their trip.
Cathie and I loved our day with Anthony. Totally absorbed us and brought alive the cast of characters, their selective incompetence and tragic bunglings at Isandlwana and heroics and leadership at Rorke’s Drift. Many thanks!
When having visitors from overseas we always take them to the Battlefields for an experience 2nd to none. Staying at Clivia Place and Tony’s excellent tours have been talking points for all our friends and relatives.
One day Tony I will do Hlobane Hill with you, and you must visit us in Cape Town now that I am tour guide for the Battle of Blaauwberg. You were a great mentor!!
Hi Anthony,
This is Alan Morrison, the Scottish gentleman that was on your tour of Rorkes Drift yesterday. I would just like to thank you for the most enjoyable day I have spent in SA. Your knowledge and enthusiasm for this battlefield was second to none. I could listen to you on this subject day after day. Thank you again for an amazing experience would definitely recommend you as a top guide
